This book is a small snapshot of my family life. A reflection on my daughter’s growing up and my own maturity. On how it is impossible to be apart from her. On remembering the tenderness of the first few years, when our bodies were almost one, and then gradually accepting the natural distance that stretches between us like a resistance band. Many minutes that I didn’t have time to witness and consciously live through became lost to the past as they were happening. This feeling encouraged me to watch more closely and capture everyday goings.
